Multiscan
Every code in view,
marked at once
If the markers are there but nothing reaches your computer, the answer is on the computer side. If that is not it, write to us.
What it does
Every barcode in view gets a live marker at once. Tap one to send it to your computer or copy it to the clipboard, and save an annotated photo of everything you scanned. Codes reach the computer over Bluetooth, so no cable, Wi-Fi or account is needed.
The program on your computer
Nothing is typed until the ScanToPC Receiver is running. It sits in your menu bar or system tray, takes the codes you tap and types them where your cursor is. It is the same program for Multiscan and ScanToPC.
Connecting
- Start the receiver on your computer and open Multiscan on your iPhone.
- They find each other by themselves. Do not pair the phone in your computer’s Bluetooth settings.
- Click in a text field on your computer, then tap a marker.
Copying to the clipboard works with no computer involved at all.
In a room with several phones
Pairing is optional, and it is there for exactly this: with several phones and several computers in one room, pairing makes each phone type only on its own computer.
Free scans and the subscription
Five scans a day are free. A subscription makes it unlimited, and is charged to your Apple Account.
To cancel or change it, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
