Free, for Mac and Windows. It runs in your menu bar or system tray and types the codes your iPhone sends. Both apps use this same one.

Installing on Windows
- Run
ScanToPC-Receiver-Setup.exe. It installs for your user only, no admin rights needed. - If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway. This appears because the app is not code-signed yet.
- Leave Start automatically when Windows starts ticked if you want it always ready.
Installing on Mac
- Open the zip and drag ScanToPC Receiver into your Applications folder.
- Open it. If macOS says it cannot be opened, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.
- Allow Bluetooth, and allow Accessibility when asked. Accessibility lets the receiver type the scanned codes.
Connecting
- Start the receiver on your computer and open ScanToPC or Multiscan on your iPhone.
- They find each other by themselves. Do not pair the phone in your computer’s Bluetooth settings.
- Click in a text field on your computer and scan.
